That is why in this raag Guru Sahib has composed Bani on serious topics such as mind,intellect, buddhi, atma, death, mukti etc. Maximum baani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib is in this raag . Sukhmani Sahib and Baavan Akhri which are composed in this raag show the essence of all aspects of life. Maximum bani of Bhagat Kabirji is in this raag. Sri Guru Granth Sahib states “Gaudi raag sulakhanee jae khasamai chit karaee| Bhaanai chalai satiguroo kai aisaa seegaar karaee|”
